About Us
Sweet Home AZ Childcare & Preschool is a home family childcare & preschool, founded by Jessica H. Franchy. With a background in both engineering and early childhood education, Jessica brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a deep commitment to nurturing young minds.
As a mother of three, she understands the importance of providing loving, social, emotional, and educational care, and her program is enhanced by a bilingual Spanish curriculum.
Our Story
Who is Jessica?
Jessica was born in Peru and emigrated to the United States in 2005 after winning permanent residence through the U.S. Government's international visa lottery. Pregnant with her first child, she and her husband embraced the opportunity, seeking a better future in the land of opportunity.

Jessica holds two professional degrees:

Agricultural Engineer - Pedro Ruiz Gallo National University, Peru.

Early Childhood Administration and Management - Rio Salado Community College, Arizona.
In Peru, Jessica worked as an agricultural engineer in the administrative area of the Export Development Project for the Peruvian Government, a project that significantly boosted the Peruvian economy by over $5 billion annually.
Upon settling in the U.S., Jessica chose to dedicate herself full-time to raising her three children. This experience allowed her to hone her skills in education, nutrition, budgeting, health, and first aid. Her love for working with children deepened as she volunteered at her children's preschool and local church.
Later, when her older children started school, Jessica worked as a computer instructor for Pre-K through Third Grade students. This experience sparked her true passion for working with young children. However, she paused her career when her third child was born to continue her full-time dedication to motherhood.
Over time, her desire to open her own childcare & preschool grew stronger. Determined to turn her passion into a profession, Jessica pursued further education in early childhood management and continues to train and grow in the field of early childhood education.
Sweet Home AZ Childcare & Preschool
In 2016, Jessica's dream became a reality with the opening of Sweet Home AZ Childcare & Preschool. Her goal was to create a nurturing and safe environment where children feel at home, while also immersing them in the Spanish language. Sweet Home AZ has since become a trusted resource for families in the community, offering high-quality care and education.
